Sheryl Mesnekoff Stelzle
Mar 21, 2016      י"א אדר ב תשע"ו

We remember Sheryl Mesnekoff-Stelzle. From a young age, Sheryl embraced her Jewish roots. She had her Bat Mitzvah and confirmation at Temple Beth-El, where she also enjoyed singing in the choir. When Sheryl returned to Buffalo after 10 years in California, she became a member of Temple Beth-Am,(now Congregation ShirShalom) where Sheryl could be seen working a Bingo night or playing percussion instruments for the kids’ service. Sheryl had such a big personality and a big heart to go with it. Her love for her daughter, Andrea and her son, David were very apparent in the relationship she had with them. Sheryl liked to share her Jewish heritage with her two grandsons, Dylan and Devon. She loved being a bubbie and singing the kids a Yiddish song before bed. Since her passing, Sheryl has a new granddaughter, Major, and a few more great nieces and nephew. We will make sure to tell them stories and honor her memory. Sheryl is remembered by many including: Her mother and father- Melvyn and Beverly Mesnekoff, Her brother Jay and Rebecca Mesnekoff, Her sister Beth and Chris Marziale,Her sister Sandie Mesnekoff-Hendrix, Her Son David and Erica Christopher, Her Daughter Andrea and Levon Tallchief, Her husband Jim Stelzie, and many nieces & nephews
